Creowave Oy has started the customer deliveries of CWR 806 TI 2 Tetra repeater according to plan. The first shipments took place in the beginning of March 2008.
“The latest model in the Tetra repeater product family is widening the offerings of Creowave to new Geographical areas. We are now able to respond to Tetra customer enquiries from Asia/Pacific area, where this frequency model is mainly targeted.” says Technical Director Teemu Vähäkangas.
Creowave has signed several new agreements for distribution and sales of Creowave Repeaters. The most recent agreements were made with Virtus Technologies in the U.K., Abiom in Netherlands and Federal Trade in Italy. Creowave now has local distribution in 8 European countries and is continuously looking for new partners in new areas.

So far everything has gone much faster than we expected and we are now looking forward to finding local distributors to all main market areas in the world. Creowave Radio Testing unit has launched a new diplexer type for transmitter test systems.
This new diplexer type makes measurement of transmitter harmonics easier than ever before.
Creowave Universal Diplexer is now available for CDMA, GSM, UMTS, TerreStar and WiMAX test systems.

Creowave has made a frame agreement with MPM AS, producer of HighPerformanceFlowmeters® used in international Oil & Gas community globally. The Frame agreement covers deliveries and production of multiphase meter electronics units. At the same time, Creowave has received the biggest single order in it’s history.
The new order covers deliveries that will start in spring time 2008, and will continue towards the end of the year.
“There has been a great interest for this product in the international Oil & Gas community, and we see this as a strong signal for need of this kind of products, also in the future. This will also maintain the company in growing the revenues and to further develop this kind of products in long term”, says Jyrki Koski, Managing Director of Creowave.

Creowave introduced a repeater for the CDMA/F-OFDM 450 market in December 2007. Deliveries of the new product have started. See datasheet on page Professional Radio.

Creowave started TETRA Repeater customer deliveries in November 2007 as planned. Frequency versions 380 MHz, 385 MHz, 410 MHz, 415 MHz and 450 MHz are now commercially available. See datasheets on page Professional Radio.

Creowave Ltd. has been granted the certificate to conform to the Quality Management System Standard ISO 9001:2000. The certificate was granted by DNV Certification OY/AB on September 28, 2006.

Creowave Ltd. has expanded engineering and production areas in Pilot Business Park in Oulunsalo, Finland. The new engineering area is located in the first floor and the production area in the ground floor of the Pilot Business Park.
Creowave Ltd. is supporting A-juniors of the local football team OPS. The OPS A-juniors are playing in the first division. Creowave wishes a successful season!
A high level delegation from Norway visited Creowave and Oulu region on 10th and 11th of May. Meetings with Oulu Chamber of Commerce, Oulunsalo municipality and Technopolis were also included in the visit program. Creowave were pleased to host the visitors during the visit.

Trac ID Systems AS, partially owned by Creowave Ltd., got a big owner 30.4.2006 when Statoil Innovation AS became an investor and main shareholder of the company.
Trac ID Systems AS in Stavanger Norway develops and markets optimal system solutions for wireless identification and monitoring of equipment, processes and personnel with particular focus on the oil & gas sector.
Statoil Innovation AS in Oslo Norway is an investment company owned by Statoil.
Statoil is an oil company which is 70.9 % owned by the Norwegian State.

Orbis product range now includes Creowave RF –filters. Creowave is specialised in metering products for Energy sector and special products for ICT sector. Main business areas of Orbis are refining and integration of special components, comprehensive services in testing automation, and technical support.
The cooperation takes place in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia.


Creowave has moved to new facilities in the beginning of November 2005. Our new premises are located in the Pilot Business Park next to Oulu Airport.
With these new facilities Creowave can further expand operations and improve services.
Creowave Ltd. has entered into a long term development agreement and strategic alliance with a Norwegian based company Multi Phase Meters AS. MPM AS is located in Stavanger and they are providing metering solutions for the international oil companies. The total value of the contract is not announced, but the agreement has a very positive impact for several years for the company.
